Grammy-Nominated Rapper, Nipsey Hussle Has Passed Away

On March 31, 2019, Ermias Davidson Asghedom also know as Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot and killed. His death was confirmed by a Los Angeles city official. Nipsey was shot six times outside of his store he opened back in 2017, “The Marathon Clothing Store”. The shooting occurred in the area of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard around 3:25 p.m. Two other people were injured and they were transported to a hospital. The two other victims are in stable condition, while Nipsey succumbed to his injuries. 

 

Nipsey was working on making his neighborhood a better place. He seemed to always share his incredible thoughts with everyone. In 2017 he opened his clothing store “The Marathon Clothing” for his community. He was working on a documentary about Dr. Sebi and his trial in 1985. In a recent interview he mentioned “If they kill me for this documentary, y’all better ride out!” 

 

A number of celebrities and fans expressed their sympathy and love on social media.
