Finals Week Tips
It Will Be Worth It In The future
Always remember to stay strong because everything will be worth it in the end. Late nights and early mornings contribute to your success in the future.
Your brain works better when you stays fueled. Make sure to eat healthy foods that will help your body stay on track and not shut down. (i.e. granola bars, fruits, water)
Attend Review Sessions Even if You Don’t Want Too
Attend review session that your professor holds. Most times they give hints about what is on the test and give out points for attending.
Silence All Devices and Focus
Finals week is when you should limit your access to all devices. Try to turn off your devices when studying, it will help you stay focused.
Study in Groups
Find a group of friends to study with. They will push you and help you when you feel like giving up.
Don’t Stress, Take a Break
Take breaks and give your brain a chance to relax. Sometimes studying continuously can be a bit stressful. Go for a walk, take a nap, get some ice cream!
Get Some Sleep
Sleep is the main key to a successful finals week. You need sleep in order to focus and retain information. Even if its a little power nap, that is better than no sleep.
Take your time while taking a test. When you rush you may miss a question or choose the wrong answer. Make sure to read every question from beginning to end.
Study, Study, Study
Read the material, write it over and over, and say it out loud ! The more you read, write and say it, the easier it will be for you to remember the materials.
Believe in Yourself
Remember to believe in yourself and stay strong. If you cannot remember something on a test, just think about the most accurate answer. When things get rough say this “ I GOT THIS”.
