Thanksgiving Comedy Fest: DeRay Davis, Tony Rock, Jess Hilarious, Drew Fraser and Smokey Suarez

On November 29th at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and November 30th at the King Theatre in Brooklyn get ready for comedy’s biggest night. The Thanksgiving Comedy Fest will feature some of the best comedians, DeRay Davis (of Fox’s Empire and FX’s Snowfall), Tony Rock (HBO’s All Def Comedy), Jess Hilarious (Fox’s Rel) and Drew Fraser (HBO’s P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy). Stand-up comic Smokey Suarez (Comedy Central’s Russell Simmons Presents Stand-Up at the El Rey) will be your host!

You may know DeRay Davis from his stand-up specials, DeRay Davis: How to Act Black on Netflix and Power Play on Showtime. This comedian and actor has been featured on the big screen in Semi Pro ( Will Ferrell), Barbershop (Ice Cube), and 21 Jump Street (Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum). He also stared in the Fox series, Empire, Hip hop game show, Hip Hop squares on VH1.

Tony Rock, known as Chris Rock’s younger brother is also apart of the comedy community. He has been apart of HBO’s All Def Comedy, BET’s Black Card Revoked and Apollo Live. Tony plays Vince in the TV series Living Biblically and has recently toured with Mike Epps on his Platinum Comedy Tour.

Jess Hilarious, known for her entertaining Instagram videos turned her skits into her profession. She has been seen on MTV’s Wild’n Out and HBO’s all Def Comedy show. Jess has also been featured in TV shows, movies and opened for comedy legends like Mo’Nique, Mike Epps, Rickey Smiley and Martin Lawrence. In 2018, she made her first scripted debut on Fox’s Rel as Brittany.

Drew Fraser, this amusing supernatural comedian will have you cracking up all night. His first big television appearance was “Showtime at the Apollo Theater”. He has co-hosted Bad Boys of Comedy, Comic View, and Def Jam Comedy. In 1996 he was awarded “New York City’s Funniest Male Comedian.”

Smokey Suarez, your host has stared in Blood on The Streets, Death of Dynasty and Paper Soldiers. As one of the top “urban” stand-up comedians he will definitely keep you entertained.
