Power 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams Host I WILL GRADUA

On January 9, 2020 thousands of youth and educators from New York City will gather at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY for I WILL GRADUATE DAY NYC.

I WILL GRADUATE DAY NYC is the largest annual home-grown youth empowerment event and celebration of education. This educational event is hosted by New York's Power 105.1 FM’s own The Breakfast Club (DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlemagne tha God) along side Mayor de Blasio and Chancellor Richard A. Carranza. Their aim is to promote a college-going culture across New York City Schools.

Students will have the chance to mix and mingle with a number of influential individuals including Jamie Casper (The Google Global Education Evangelist), Eric Adams (Brooklyn Borough President), Leticia James (NYS Attorney General) and Farah Louis (NYC Council Woman) along with surprise performances by some of their favorite celebrity musicians and entertainers such as The Shiggy Show and Ron Suno.

Declared by the official proclamation from the City of New York, I WILL GRADUATE DAY is a citywide school initiative to increase graduate rates amongst at risk students. This day will give students a chance to hone in on their skills through workshops, pep rallies, college/career curriculums and much more.
