We’ve all heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
Regardless of how beautiful you find yourself; we all have those outward imperfections we wish we could just zap away. Or didn’t have to spend a load of money on products to correct.
We’ve compiled a list of beauty hacks so simple all you’ll need is a trip to your grocery store, or refrigerator?
Ladies and gentlemen, here are some beauty hacks you didn’t know you needed to know.
Toothpaste – Toothpaste helps to dry out pimples and is primarily used as an overnight treatment for pimples.
CAUTION: Toothpaste may irritate your skin at first, which is common. If your skin becomes too irritated remove and proceed with normal skin care routine.
Tea Tree Oil – A natural antibacterial oil. Great for getting rid of pimples, acne scars, and good for any inflammation swelling or redness you may have. May also help with psoriasis and eczema.
CAUTION, often times in its pure form this oil can be too harsh for the skin. It is recommended that the oil be diluted with water or another oil that is good for skin care (ex. olive oil, grapeseed oil).
Lemon Juice: Used for lightening the skin and removing acne. This is an all in one treatment used to get rid of any pimples and the scars they’ve left behind, dark circles, and any other discoloration you may have.
CAUTION: Lemon or lemon juice by itself can be too harsh for the skin. Dilute with substances such as honey, water or rosewater.
Aloe Vera: Typically used to treat dry skin, including psoriasis and eczema, acne and burns.
CAUTION: An overuse of Aloe Vera in its pure state may result in irritated or dry skin. Aloe should not be used to treat infections unless told so by a medical professional.
Green Tea: Is beneficial for skin both when consumed and when placed on the skin directly. The vitamins found in green tea promote healthy skin. When used on skin the antibacterial agents fight acne and promotes toned skin.
CAUTION: Skin may become irritated if green tea or green tea extract is not diluted or applied with a mixing agent.
