Coco Guaff continues to keep her competitors on their feet. At 15 years-old this tennis star has beat Venus Williams at Wimbledon.

She recently defeated third- seeded Naomi Osaka in the third round of straight sets. In 2019, Osaka comforted Gauff after their match together. Osaka won the match but upheld Gauff during her interview, which was a prime example of good sportsmanship.

On Friday, January 24, 2020 Coco Gauff had her time to shine. She became the youngest player to eliminate the reigning women’s champion beating former No. 1 Naomi Osaka. The score, 6-3, 6-4 in the third round. Gauff’s after match interview was a regular teen interview. ““Honestly, like, what is my life? Like, oh, my gosh!”“Two years ago, I lost first round in juniors and now I'm here. This is crazy.” Said Gauff.

Though Naomi Osaka did not win, she had some nice complements for Gauff, “Her serve is way better,” Osaka said. "I feel like I wasn't really swinging freely, and she was."

Her next opponent will be either No. 14 seed Sofia Kenin or Zhang Shuai, who are scheduled to meet later Friday night.
