It’s time for your weekly coronavirus update.
Experts for sometime now have been saying, that citizens of the U.S. should prepare for the coronavirus to make its appearance in this country. It was never a question of ‘if’ but a question of ‘when’.
There have been reports that some possible options that were being discussed to help avoid the spread of the coronavirus once it has hit the U.S. was to close down schools and afterschool programs.
It seems as if the time has come for those solutions to be set into place as reports continue to come in about 200 individuals who underwent voluntary home screening after showing viral symptoms similar to that of the wide spreading coronavirus, according to an article by Fox 5 Atlanta.
In a quote by officials from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention stated that other facilities of mass gathering including schools and workplaces will experience absenteeism.
What you may not know is that over 400 people were tested across the U.S. and there are already 14 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in the U.S. while most of the cases were related to the patients traveling to China. A couple of the cases were caused by the virus being spread from person to person contact.
The number may seem low, but this virus is highly contagious. As seen in other countries the virus reached death in high numbers come with the spread of the virus.
