More On The Coronavirus

Over the past week interviews have been circling over several public figures and celebrities, even President Trump, stating that the coronavirus pandemic is being exaggerated by the media.

Celebrities continue to take to social media to express their opinion on COVID-19 and whether or not they are letting it stop their lives.

But, whether you are a conspiracy theorist who believes the government is behind the spread of the coronavirus or a person sincerely being cautious there are some facts about COVID-19 and responses to the pandemic you should know.

  • Earlier this week a small group of passengers on United Airline flight 1562 caused a disruption so effectively after a passenger sneezed that the plane was forced to land.

  • Coachella has officially been moved to the weekends of October 9,10,11 and October 16,17,18 due to the festivals concern that it would be canceled all together due to the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Video have gone viral of families taking extra precautions when it comes to those children that still attend school. Some of the videos include families spraying down their children with different kinds of disinfectant sprays.

  • Several colleges and universities have closed their doors and moved classes online including all SUNY and CUNY institutions.

  • Italy is the most recent country to place itself and its citizens on lockdown. Meaning all citizens are told to stay home and public places of gathering have been closed. The only places that are open are food markets, where there have been waves of people lined up trying to get something to eat.

  • The NBA has canceled the rest of the season after a player on the Utah Jazz, Rudy Gobert, tested positive for COVID-19 before Wednesday March 11, 2020 game.

  • Majority of people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered. The virus is said to be most dangerous to the elderly and those with weaker immune systems.
