Were you afraid that you were going to miss out on going to the movies during the pandemic?
Universal Pictures has a solution, but it costs you the same amount as an adult movie ticket in Times Square. Are you interested?
The Invisible Man, The Hunt and Emma are said to be available in homes as soon as Friday. The films will be available for $19.99 for 48 hours.
Universal Pictures is the first of the film production studios to offer this service as a solution to their companies inevitable financial downfall due to the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic.
$20 for a 48 hour movie rental may be profitable for the company, as they have received some positive reactions. But many people think that the price is absurd and took to Twitter voice their opinion.
Only time will tell if this plan of action is effective. But if it is, considering the pandemic is predicted to last throughout the summer, can we expect to see more movies meant for the big screen appear on our home screens instead?
Would you pay $20 to rent a movie for 48 hours? Or will you be sticking to Netflix and pirated movie sites?
