Texas Plans To Move Forward With Stabbing Case Against Iyanna Mayweather

It was just the other day when we all saw Iyanna Mayweather’s first mug shot. Well the state of Texas is not playing with her.

According to The Source, the state of Texas will be moving forward in prosecuting the daughter of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. after she stabbed a woman earlier this month.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has subpoenaed the medical records of, Lapattra Jocobs, who is the victim and mother of NBA Youngboy’s child. Harris County’s Assistant District Attorney Kenisha Day was also granted an order by the Houston hospital where Jacobs got treatment at to give up medical charts, lab results, x-rays, photographs, and more information to be used as evidence against Iyanna Mayweather.

Iyanna Mayweather's lawyer told BOSSIP earlier this month that his client planned to plead not guilty when she’s due back in court later this summer. If convicted, she faces up to 99-years in prison.
