Tory Lanez and YouTube are teaming up to create new technology to advance the experience of live shows being streamed from home.
According to a post on Lanez’s Instagram the software will allow fans to have more opportunities to interact with celebrities during the performance. Fans will also be able to personalize how they view the concert, request songs and even change the appearance and lighting of the concert on their PC.
The software is expected to be tested out tomorrow, Friday May 1, during Lanez’s live YouTube performance titled Vibe #WithMe.
The show will be available to stream globally and Lanez will be paid for it. According to his post this is the first paid live show during quarantine, and he will be donating a portion of the proceeds to charity.
The show is linked to the Tory Lanez Social Distance Tour that will be kicked off at 7 p.m. EST.
