Harlem Singer 'Just Sam' Wins American Idol
This season of American Idol has been a drastic change for everyone. The ABC singing competition started off normal, spent a few weeks virtual and ended virtually. Yesterday, the judges announced the winner just after a few weeks. Normally the competition is longer but this year things had to move faster due to COVID-19.
Last night 21- year old Harlem singer, Just Sam won the eighteenth season of American Idol. She is the shows first ever “at home” winner due to the show being virtual. Just Sam was among six other finalists including Julia Gargano, Arthur Gunn, Dillon James, Louis Knight, Francisco Martin and Jonny West.
We can expect to see American Idol next year as it has already been renewed for Season 4 by ABC.
