Rapper 2 Chainz made sure the Class of 2020 at North Clayton High School had a memorable graduation despite COVID-19.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic thousands of graduations were cancelled or rescheduled for a later date. North Clayton High in Georgia was able to host a drive by graduation for their students thanks to 2 Chainz and his TRU Foundation.
As students drove by they could hear their faculty and fellow classmates cheering them on. Each graduate was also able to receive their diploma.
According to Rap Up, Chainz also shouted out the single mothers and shared some inspirational words with the Class of 2020. “I just want to let you know you got somebody that believes in you, someone that is showing support as you go into this crazy world, all this COVID stuff and racism, know that somebody still loves you, know that somebody’s willing to give back.”
This isn’t the first time that the rapper has done something sweet for a graduating class.
