California Governor Orders Bars Closed In Seven Counties

On Sunday, California Governor Gavin Newsom ordered bars to close in seven counties. The counties affected are Los Angeles, Fresno, Tulare, Kern, Kinds, Imperial and San Joaquin.

After the rise in coronavirus cases these bars were ordered to immediately shut down. The state of California is also encouraging other counties to issue local health orders for other bars.

"COVID-19 is still circulating in California, and in some parts of the state, growing stronger," Newsom said in a written statement according to Fox News. "That's why it is critical we take this step to limit the spread of the virus in the counties that are seeing the biggest increases."

Bars were first allowed to open on June 12 but as coronavirus cases started rising California is now rethinking their decision. As we have seen with Florida their coronavirus cases have dramatically increased. Florida has not been taking the necessary precautions from the beginning and now everything is catching up with them.
