The MTA is Installing Vending Machines in Subways That Will Provide Protective Gear
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is introducing new measures to help keep their employees and passengers safe.
In addition to deep cleaning and disinfecting train stations and subway cars the MTA is helping passengers to stay safe by giving them access to personal protective equipment during their journey via vending machines. The vending machines offer reusable masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.

The MTA started installing a total of 12 vending machines in 10 stations in NYC on Tuesday.
According to reports, MTA riders can expect to find these vending machines in train stations located at:
14th St-Union Square
34th ST-Herald Square (two vending machines)
34th St-Penn Station
34 St-Penn Station
42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal
42 St-Times Square (two vending machines)
59 St-Columbus Circle
74 St-Roosevelt Av
Atlantic Av-Barclays Center
Lexington Av
It is unclear what the current prices are for the personal protective gear in the machines.
