Taylor Swift Gets Called Out By Black Business Owner After Ripping Off Design For "Folklore" Merchandise

Country singer Taylor Swift has just recently released her eighth studio album and is now been called out by a Black business owner for ripping off their design for her “Folklore” merchandise. Amira Rasool, the founder of Black owned business ‘The Folkore’ has called out Taylor for ripping off her company’s logo for her recent album merch. Rasool took to Instagram to show others how similar Swift’s merch is to her brands logo.

On Thursday, Swift tweeted at Rasool, saying that she will make a tribute you her company and support the Black in Fashion Council. Since then Swift has changed her logo on her album merchandise. Rasool then tweeted, "I recognize that she has been a strong advocate for women protecting their creative rights, so it was good to see her team is on the same page.”
