The Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. exhibition fight has been pushed back until the fall. It is said that Tyson’s team didn’t feel as if they properly promoted the “fight.” The fight was announced on July 23 and was set to happen on September 12. Now, the fight has been pushed all the back to November 28, which is a big jump for boxing fans.
A source told ESPN on Sunday that there have been no official adjustments made to the contract at this time, but there have been discussions over the weekend in regard to a change of date. Tyson vs Jones will be a pay-per-view event and is said to be for charity. This will be Tyson’s first time back in the ring since he retired 15 years ago.
