Ari Lennox, MoneyBagg Yo, Kirk Franklin, Mulatto and More to Perform at HBCU Virtual Homecoming

Homecoming season is a very important time for all colleges but HBCU’s do it the best. This year for the first time, all HBCU homecomings are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Black artists usually perform at these big homecoming events and this year you won’t be able to see them on a stage. Just because we can’t physically be there doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time. Corey Arvinger and Justin Phillips, CEOs and co-founders of Support Black Colleges, came together to start a HBCU Virtual Homecoming.

The HBCU Virtual Homecoming is set to take place from October 21- October 25. You can expect to see some of your favorite artists like Ari Lennox, Moneybagg Yo, Kirk Franklin, Mulatto, 2 Chainz, Marvin Sapp and so many more.

Ari Lennox told Billboard, "The pandemic had a huge effect on many touring artists this year including myself. We had a number of things planned for the homecoming season including a HBCU tour with Femme It Forward. Which unfortunately had to be canceled. I’m super excited to be performing virtually with Support Black Colleges during their HBCU Virtual homecoming. I am looking forward to the world opening back up and being able to see my fans once again."
