Melania Speaks Out About Tell All Book And Leaked Audio Recordings

This past week it was announced that Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, author of the book “Melania and Me” has been sued by the justice department for violating an NDA and they are seeking to seize all proceeds from the book. Wolkoff’s scathing tell-all book revealed very intimate details about the first family that she had witnessed throughout her 10-year relationship with them. Not only did Wolkoff reveal family details through the book, she also leaked voice recordings of intimate conversations with Melania.
Wolkoff leaked the extremely controversial audio recording of Melania expressing her frustration over the criticism of the administration's migrant family separation policy, and was definitely a deciding factor in pursuing a lawsuit against Wolkoff. The expletive laden voice recordings show Melania praising the living conditions at the detention centers housing migrant children. Melania Callously states in the audio: "They are taken care of nicely there. But you know, yeah, they are not with parents, it's sad. But when they come here alone or with coyotes or illegally, you know, you need to do something."
We’ve only ever received a response from the White House, who immediately denounced the book as lies written by a scorned ex-friend. Now, we are hearing directly from the First Lady. Melania penned a letter for the White House website, where she fired back at Wolkoff. She also addressed the audio recordings, but didn’t necessarily apologize for them. Instead, Mrs. Trump claims that the comments she made were “out of context.
Melania says that Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff clung to her after her husband won the presidency, and is now releasing a book full of “idle gossip” to defame her character.
Melania tweeted: “When the media chooses to focus on self-serving individuals & salacious gossip instead of work to help our next generation, it needs to be talked about,” while sharing the letter to her followers. Melania ensures that her main focus is to help the children, and that any media outlets scrutinizing her “has lost sight of what we are here to accomplish and who we are here to serve.”
