33 Year Old Fitness Blogger Dies From COVID-19 After Denying its Existence
The COVID-19 pandemic has separated the American population in a crazy way; the believers and the non-believers. It’s crazy to think that there are people negating the existence of a virus that has claimed the lives of millions worldwide, but here we are. There are some non-believers who attribute their skepticism to their distrust in the government, their religion, and most popular reasoning is health knowledge. Fitness influencer Dmitriy Stuzhuk was one of those non-believers until the virus took his life at only 33 years old.
Stuzhuk caught the virus during a trip to Turkey and was taken to the hospital after testing positive upon his arrival back to his homeland of Ukraine. Stuzhuk was discharged from the hospital after 8 days and was ready to resume using his platform of over 1 million followers to promote healthy living, but COVID left damage to his heart. Sofia, Stuzhuks’ widow, stated that he was having “problems with his cardiovascular system...his heart is not coping.” When announcing his death to the public she added “Only warm memories remain, three beautiful kids and valuable experience.”
Before passing, Stuzhuk posted to his followers from his hospital bed and gave them the warning that many need to see.
"I was one who thought that Covid does not exist...until I got sick....COVID-19 IS NOT A SHORT-LIVED DISEASE! And it is heavy."
