#NewMusicFriday: Add These To Your Playlist

Another Friday has come and that always means an influx of new music and we're here to help you sift through it all. Here are a few must downloads from the newly released list.

Ariana Grande - Positions(Album)

This generation's pop princess is back with an album that you’re guaranteed to have on repeat for the remainder of this week. Features from Doja Cat, The Weeknd and Ty Dolla $ign helped to boost the already lyrically sound album.

BENEE, Lily Allen, & Flo Milli - Plain

Flo Milli continues on her trend to prove that she can she hop on any track and hold her own. This time on BENEEs’ calm, eclectic, pop centered single Plain. With an assist from Lily Allen, who hasn’t released anything of her own since 2018 - this song is a great mix of 3 sounds that might not have worked any other way.

Wizkid - Made In Lagos(Album)

The African STARBOY has dropped his long awaited Made In Lagos album and he did not disappoint. Although the album is rooted in Afrobeat with features from Damian Marley and Burna Boy, Wizkid displays his versatility and respect for other genres by featuring Ella Mai and Skepta. With the Winter months closing in, this album helps to bring a little sunshine into the cool weather.

Tierra Whack - Dora

Whimsically talented Tierra Whack has done it again over another playful beat. Constant word play and flow switches keeps the track interesting and fresh - similar to the remainder of Whacks releases.

Omarion - The Kinection (Album)

We’ve seen consistent singles from Omarion within the past few weeks and it’s all been leading up to this moment. The 12 song long album has features from T-Pain, Ghostface Killah, Busy Signal, and Wale. Omarion flirts with the line between R&B and Pop consistently and throughout the duration of this album he shows us that he doesn’t have to chose.

Che Ecru - Til Death (Album)

R&B crooner Che Ecru releases his third project for 2020 and it holds up against the masterfully put together prior releases. Being able to stand on a 13 track album without any features as a singer is something that displays strength in ability and confidence.

Lil Durk, Young Thug & 6lack - Stay Down

A catchy single that plays to all artists featured talents. There is a lot of replay value in this track because of each of their ability to float on it differently. The similarities between their styles allowed them to compliment each other without them meshing together.

Sad Money, Gallant, & Felix Cartal - Lose My Love

There is a strong Go-Go influence in this track that is guaranteed to put you in a good mood and make you want to dance. A slight hint of darkness in the back of the beat gives it a slightly spooky feel which works perfectly with the season. All in all, this single is one that can be played in the virtual clubs.

Blac Youngsta,Lil Baby & MoneyBagg Yo - I Met Tay Keith First

Blac Youngsta shows off a new flow on this single with a killer bassline. Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta have already shown us the kind of heat that comes from them on a track, but adding Lil Baby in the mix was the cherry on top.

King Von - Welcome To O’Block (album)

Popular Chicago drill rapper King Von has released his second project of the year and it includes a few star studded features. Teaming up with New York drill rappers like Polo G and Fivio Foregin was definitely a smart move since the two cities have different takes on what drill. Ensuring to show some love to his fellow hometown heroes like Dreezy and Lil Durk to show where the loyalty lies.
