#New Music Friday : Add These To Your Playlist

With the focus on the presidential election many artists haven’t been promoting their music as heavily as they usually would. Even though promotion may not have been as heavy the songs were released and just like every other week we have listed 10 new songs that you should add in your rotation.

2 Chainz ft Mulatto - Quarantine Thick

To the ladies that have gained a little something something during our quarantine time, this song is for you. A very simplistic beat with comical yet relatable lyrics is right up 2Chainz alley - the feature from Big Latto is just the icing on the cake.

Omah Lay ft 6lack - Damn

This afrobeat inspired track brings something fairly different to the music scene. There isn’t a single feature that 6lack has done where he hasn’t added his own flare and this one is no different. Although this was an unlikely match up, it was fantastic either way.

2000AND4EVA - Bree Runway (album)

Rapper Bree Runway has been working hard the past few years and her time has come. With the new release of her debut Mixtape there’s no way you can count this girl out. The features list is star studded with vocal appearances from Missy Elliot, Yung Baby Tate, Maliibu Miitch and Rico Nasty, to name a few. Bree Runway is ready to let the world know that she’s here and here to stay.

ZieZie ft Ms. Banks & Kwengface - Late Night Text

Afro fusion tracks have been gaining more popularity throughout the year and it’s been exciting to see. That mix of afrobeat and rap is pleasing to the ear and this song is a great example. The beat makes you want to dance while the lyrics enthrall.

Benny Benassi ft Jeremih - LOVELIFE

This single has classic club music vibes - very similar to the songs that the Jersey Shore cast used to fist pump to way back when. You would think that having Jeremih on the track would allow for some smooth R&B sounds but he added his pop flair instead.

Mike Will Made-it ft Nicki Minaj & NBA Youngboy - What That Speed Bout?!

This track has caused a wildfire on Social Media because being able to have a feature from Queen Nicki Minaj is something closer to gold right now. This track is different and definitely will bump hard in the whip.

Neelam - Ride On My Enemies

If you saw our list of female rappers to watch then you’ve already seen Neelams’ name. This new single is everything that she has stood for, especially lyricism.

Rah Swish ft Dreamdoll - Watchu Like

Dreamdoll has been keeping her head down and working on her craft and it shows with the level of these features. The Aaliyah sample really takes the track to the next level and gives the drill beat some extra flavor.

Pooh Shiesty ft. Lil Durk - Back In Blood

Not many have heard from Pooh Shiesty but this track with Lil Durk is going to change all of that. The two rappers compliment each other well, neither overshadowing the other.

Nav - Emergency Tsunami (album)

Social Media has been making fun of Nav for a few weeks but that hasn’t stopped his work. This new album has features from all the current heavy hitters like Gunna, Young Thug, Lil Baby and Sahbabii. Navs’ sound has evolved but he’s still true to his style.
