Michigan sheriff's court deputy fired after posting racist Kamala Harris watermelon carving

Madame Vice President-Elect already has racist Americans in distress. A part-time court deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office just lost her job, after feeling compelled to share her racist Halloween pumpkin display. The photo uploaded on social media showed Joe Biden, Donald Trump, and Mike Pence pumpkin carvings and a Kamala Harris carving in a watermelon.

The ex-employee was identified as Sherry Prose, Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe told reporters via email. Apparently by the time the post was brought to the department- it had already been deleted.

McCabe explained, “Behavior such as this brings tarnish to the badge and is not representative (of) all those in law enforcement who protect and serve." Prose was quickly terminated.

A CNN affiliate was able to track down Prose and she had this to say. "I worked hard in my law enforcement career and I am proud of the reputation I earned in my 30-plus years of service. I'm not a racist and never will be.” Prose has reportedly worked in law enforcement since 1994 and insists that she is not a racist. Prose says “I am not racist and never will be." However the photo tells a completely different story.

The offensive Facebook post is just a fraction of the racist attacks Kamala Harris is going to be subjected to as Vice President. If we’ve learned anything from history, it’s that there’s a vast majority of racist Americans who don’t like to see African Americans in positions of leadership. President Obama was subjected to some of the most heinous attacks throughout his eight-years in office.
