50 Police Officers Show Up To JoJo Siwa's House

The celebration was halted for JoJo Siwa who recently came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Some trolls “swatted” her home and sent authorities racing over after they received calls about a gun.

JoJo was riding high off the outpouring of love and support she received when seemingly announcing that she’s queer. She made a Tik Tok dancing to Lady Ga Ga’s signature hit 'Born This Way' which has become an LGBTQ anthem. She confirmed what fans were speculating when she posted a picture on Instagram wearing a "Best Gay Cousin" t-shirt and confirmed that she is part of the LGBTQ+ community on Instagram Live.

Some haters (who JoJo suspects to be members of the press) didn’t want to see JoJo winning, so they swatted her Los Angeles, California home. Swatting is when someone calls the police and claims that something is happening in order to get law enforcement to respond to the location and lock it down.

Jo Jo explained everything on Instagram live: "Basically, there's this thing called swatting. We're at our house, and all of a sudden, there was a whole bunch of police telling us to come outside the house,"

She continued, that a group of around 50 police officers showed up to her home, and the whole situation was “so scary” according to Siwa.

Footage has been released of the entire scene, confirming what JoJo claimed about the mass police presence that showed up. She was apparently rushed out of her home, as she’s barefoot and obviously caught off guard. In typical Youtuber fashion, JoJo managed to pick up her camera and record the whole thing.

The 17-year old pop sensation didn’t let the trolling dampen her mood, she’s still all smiles and happy that she is able to live her life authentically.
