It looks like the Olympics is trying very hard to keep everyone away from each other. Athletes at the Tokyo Olympics will be given “anti-sex” beds to limit the spread of COVID.
The beds are reportedly made of cardboard and are apparently only designed to take the weight of one person, meaning they would break if anyone tried to share them according to Yahoo News.
American athlete Paul Chelimo shared "Beds will be able to withstand the weight of a single person to avoid situations beyond sports. I see no problem for distance runners, even 4 of us can do..."
The cardboard beds were designed by the Japanese company Airweave.
"Our intent and goal is not for athletes to use the condoms at the Olympic Village, but to help with awareness by taking them back to their own countries," the Tokyo Olympics Organizing Committee said in a statement to Japan Today.
