Floyd Mayweather Wants To Fight 50 Cent and Doesn't Care about Weight Class

A Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent fight could be the fight of the century. And Floyd is still willing to fight after 50 Cent addressed Floyd's "lack of size."

Yesterday (Feb. 3), Floyd Mayweather confirmed that he cosigned the idea of fighting 50 Cent in the ring around the end of 2021, despite the disparity in sizes. Floyd recently went to Instagram to know how eager he is to get an opportunity to face off against his rival.

"I also heard that 50 Cent would fight me but says I'm too small. If 50 wants to lace up at the end of the year, we can do an exhibition. I don't care about weight class. The Paul brothers will make great money from the events, but with 50 Cent, it has to be 'Winner Take All,' "Floyd wrote on a social media post.

The retired boxer later revealed he has a scheduled fight in Tokyo, one against social media influencer Jake Paul and possibly a match against Paul's older brother Logan Paul.

Naturally, all of Floyd's comments came after 50 went on "The Morning Culture Radio" show last week and claimed that he would face off against the welterweight champion.

"I'd fight Floyd," 50 states. "I don't think I could make weight, though... Or he'd have to let me not get down to 150. I tried. I look like a homeless person. I could probably make it to 180."

Considering the two have repeatedly taken shots at each other over the years, this one seems the most civil. Floyd appears to be the only rival 50 Cent wants to entertain; after repeatedly declining Ja Rule's request for a Verzuz battle.

At a point, 50 had a great relationship, but the two have been trading shots over social media and interviews for over a decade.
