He's A Businessman: Master P Reacts To Clubhouse Being Valued at $1 billion

It's only been a couple of months since Master P unveiled his latest venture in the form of an app called "Clubhouse."

The app is still in its early stages of development, but over a million people have already begun taking advantage of its networking opportunities.

The Clubhouse app has significantly helped many creators, specifically music industry executives, who have hosted live A&R panels, offering unsigned artists a chance to showcase their music to some of the industry's higher-ups.

Although the app is mostly successful, many believe the app has begun to take a downward trend in recent weeks with "moaning rooms" and other nonsense occurring on the app. Other social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram have replicated the app's live audio drop-in features.

While it seems like the app's popularity is declining, the numbers say otherwise. The app has not gone public yet but is already reportedly valued at $1 billion.

Master P is notoriously known for being a great businessman and also his multiple black-owned businesses. Master P is always encouraging Black entrepreneurs to go public with their ideas and recently talked about the Clubhouse's recent success.

"I keep telling people; we go on Clubhouse, we making another one of them a billionaire," said Master P. "We just did it. Just for Clubhouse. We need to create stuff like that where we control the narrative, and we're able to put the money back in our community and our culture."

He went on to say, "If one of us did that, we would be saying, 'Nah, I don't think that's gonna work. . . the only way we're gonna be successful is taking companies public. That's the way you build wealth. We're creating so much wealth for them."

But what are your thoughts, are you on Clubhouse?
