New Music Friday: These Have To Be In Your Rotation

It can be difficult to sift through all the new music that releases every Friday and the days leading up to it so we’ve made it easier for the music lovers out there. This New Music Friday we have just a few singles, EPs, and an Album that you have to put into your rotation this week.

Successful - Young M.A.

After the release of her “Beatbox” freestyle, Young M.A. is working to keep her fans fed and the effort is clear. With today's single release, M.A. has stayed true to her lyrical New York style. “Successful” has a positive angle to match with the Chicago Hartley “Fire In The Water” sample. There hasn’t been a bad Young M.A. joint yet and she’s not starting now.

Yeah Cool - FXXXXY ft. Lil Uzi Vert

If you’re looking for a futuristic sound mixed with a little dirty sprite look no further. This single is very reminiscent of Uzis’ past work with a sprinkle of Future. FXXXXY makes a point not to get lost in quality beat or in Uzis’ superstardom, as he’s usually one who turns his features into his own track. “Yeah Cool” is definitely a track that’ll bump in the whip as the weather begins to warm up.

Awake - Mahalia

One thing that these British singers can do, is offer up a vibe on a silver platter. This calm melodic single featuring Chiiild, is the perfect addition to anyone's unwind playlist. Mahalia and Chiiild compliment each other differently as the grit in her voice meshes well with his velvety tone. We’d be lucky to hear more from the two of them together.

Sip It(EP) - Iggy Azalea

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Iggy involved in something other than baby daddy drama so it’s refreshing to have this 2 song EP be released. Right back in her element with more electronic and pop based beats, both tracks “Sip It” and “Brazil” are songs that the girls can get ready to - the bad b*tch vibe is very clear and evident. Iggy hasn’t always been everyones favorite rapper, but those who were fans before will become fans again and these tracks, especially “Brazil”, might make a believer out of a few people.

Destined 2 Win (Album) - Lil Tjay

Lil Tjay has had one hell of a come up this past year and he’s not letting up yet. This 21 track long album is helping him solidify his place as one of the strongest newcomers in the rap game right now. Scattered with quality features from 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Toosii and Moneybagg Yo, this album was released just in time to have a few bangers for the summer.
