Swizz Beatz Wants To Set Up A Verzuz Battle Between Tupac And The Notorious B.I.G.

Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's "Verzuz" events started as a dope music idea in the coronavirus pandemic. The two producers want to continue to elevate and schedule more battles, and the two are pondering the idea of setting up a Verzuz battle featuring two of rap's legends.

On Thursday (Jan. 21), Tim and Swizz appeared on the ESPN talk show "Jalen & Jacoby" and talked about putting together a posthumous battle between The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.

While elaborating on the Verzuz machine over the past months, the topic of dream matches came up.

Swizz later talked about the Verzuz series's future, including two of the late great rap legends.

"My dream one...I wanna figure out how to do 'Pac and Biggie in a way that the people are gon' love it, "Swizz offered.

Timbaland says he already had something in mind. "I got you on that," he told Swizz. I have an idea. I'll call you later."

Tupac and Biggie both died in a drive-by shooting, both only a year apart, between 1996 and 1997. They both had a complicated relationship, not being friends or foes. Nevertheless, they're regarded as the two greatest ever to bless a mic, and rightfully so, their impact has impacted millions and shouldn't be understated.

And a well throughout Verzuz battle with the right intentions and people behind could take the series to a whole new level.

But what do you think, and how do you feel about a Biggie vs. Tupac showdown?
